Hayley Burke – Development & Age Group Coach

Hayley Burke is the latest addition to the NAC Swim team having coached for the past three years with Aer Lingus Swim Team with the Age Group Squad (equivilant of NAC Junior Squad).  Together with Geoff, Hayley will be helping our development and age group swimmers.

While coaching at Aer Lingus, Hayley helped get three swimmers to Division I and six swimmers to Division II, one of which subsequently qualified for Division I.  She has taught swimming with Aer Lingus and DCU lessons for 5 years from every level including adult.

Hayley was also an accomplished swimmer in her own right enjoying much success.  Over a 15 year competitive swimming career, she earned 9 caps for Ireland including representing Ireland at the European Youth Olympics in Paris where she swam in two semi finals and finished up 9th (200 back) and 11th (100 back) and numerous caps for Leinster.  She captained an Irish Team at British Youth Championships and a Leinster Team on three occasions. Currently Hayley. together with three relay team members from Aer Lingus, hold two Irish records – fingers crossed it lasts for a few years!

Hayley is very enthusiastic about swimming and eager to learn more teaching and coaching everyday.  She looks forward to sharing further success with the kids of NAC Swim Team, and hopes to see future top Irish swimmers come out of this up and coming club.
